objective of the ZGS Excellence Award is to acknowledge employee
efforts and to recognize commitment, creativity, and loyalty.
The “Ziggy” Management Award is given to General
Managers and National Sales Managers who demonstrate leadership,

from El Cuerpo del Deseo. The special event was hosted
with WWDT’s client Sam Galloway Ford. Lehr and Moll
signed autographs and took pictures with adoring fans for
more than two hours. Admirers of the show left with photos,
t-shirts and special T-43 giveaways.

| In
September thinking way out of the box, WTMO aired their first-ever
live remote (without being live or having a live truck) with
national client Southeast Toyota. It was a very successful promotion.
WTMO shuttled tape back and forth, from various Toyota Dealers
in Central Florida. The remote was held in a festive atmosphere
in the WTMO tent with music and food. Southeast Toyota had a
fabulous time and was pleased with the creative event. |

KTDO
El Paso was the Spanish language partner in the grand reopening
of Cielo Vista Mall on November 12. Cielo Vista is the largest
mall in the city. As a draw to the festivities, KTDO hosted
Telemundo star, Melvin Cabrera who has been in several productions
such as El Cuerpo del Deseo, El Principe Azul,
and Decisiones. Cabrera greeted fans and signed autographs
in the mall where thousands of shoppers attended the reopening
celebration. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase Telemundo
and one of its up and coming personalities. |

Mexico City for the NFL game of the San Francisco 49ers against
the Arizona Cardinals. The prize included hotel accommodations,

of VIVA’s own Luigi Chavarro. Along with this creative
football to fútbol prize more than 100 soccer and football
promotional items were distributed to listeners on the air. |

advisor to the Plan to enhance its overall efficiency and

Concert a Huge Success
ZGS
partnered with Clear Channel Music Group to promote
the Marc Anthony, Alejandro Fernández and
Chayanne concert on September 10 in Washington,
DC. VIVA 900 and WZDC Washington worked together
to promote the concert throughout the DC metro
area. The groundbreaking combination of Chayanne,
Anthony, and Fernández put on a dynamic
three-hour show where each artist performed separately,
and then joined together on stage for the last
song in front of thousands of screaming fans,
the Roberto Carlos classic Amigo. With
over 12,000 fans in attendance, it was the region’s
largest Spanish language concert ever.

Hartford/Springfield Receives Hispanic Excellence
in Media Award
On
September 17, WRDM/WDRM was honored with the Hispanic
Excellence in Media Award at the 6th Annual Hispanic
Professional Network (HPN) Gala Awards Ceremony.
The award was a special recognition category this
year and honors WRDM/WDRM’s exemplary service
to the Hispanic community. The award is a statement
about the success of the television station and
recognizes the benefits the station provides the
local Hispanic community. The awards gala is held
annually in commemoration of Hispanic Heritage
Month. HPN is a non-profit organization aimed
to serve as a unifying source of information,
communication and cultural enrichment for the
Hispanic community and their mission is to engage
Hispanics in positively impacting the quality
of life where they live and work.

Channel 44 Launches in Raleigh/Durham
WZGS
Telemundo Channel 44 launched in Raleigh/Durham
at the end of the third quarter. For the official
launch WZGS hosted a luncheon for local community
leaders and businesses highlighting programming
and community involvement. The Raleigh community
is eager to have a new Spanish language channel
and WZGS has received a tremendous welcome. Jayme
Ribeiro Neto is the station’s general manager
joining WZGS after working for WZDC in Washington,
DC. WZGS broadcasts at 150 thousand watts and
reaches all of the Raleigh area. Negotiations
are underway for the addition of the channel to
Time Warner Cable’s basic package. The station
is still in the developmental stage and should
be fully operational by first quarter 2006.

Boston Announces Cable Coverage in Worcester
Charter
Communication’s cable system in Worcester,
MA is now carrying WNEU Telemundo Boston. The
launch in Worcester includes Auburn, Charlton,
Leicester, Oxford/Millbury, Paxton, Southbridge,
Uxbridge, Webster, Westborough, and Worcester
City. According to the latest census, there are
more than 50,000 Latinos in Worcester. An extensive
launch campaign is currently underway to promote
Telemundo programming.

Orlando Receives Paoli Awards
After
only eight months on the air, Telenoticias
Orlando was recognized by Premios Paoli at
the 2005 Awards Ceremony, receiving a total of
nine awards including Television Station of the
Year and Best News. WTMO also received awards
for News Anchor of the Year (Luis Mercado), Sports
Reporter of the Year (Adriana Monsalve), News
Reporter of the Year (María Isabel Hernández),
Investigative Reporter of the Year (Francisco
Flores), Best New Weather Reporter (Sergio González),
Host of the Year (Giorgina Pinedo), and Journalist
of the Year (Homan Machuca). Telenoticias Orlando
received the majority of the awards for which
they were nominated.

900 Celebrates 4th Anniversary
VIVA
900 celebrated its fourth successful year of broadcasting
by giving away a brand new Volkswagen Beetle Convertible!
Throughout the month of August, VIVA 900 and King
Volkswagen registered over one thousand listeners
to participate in this phenomenal contest. The
grand prize drawing took place on August 28 at
the dealership. More than five hundred people
attended the event to determine who would take
home the Beetle. Attendees had the opportunity
to meet their favorite VIVA personalities while
enjoying an afternoon filled with music, great
food and fabulous prizes, including $500 in airline
vouchers, VIP tickets to the concert of Marc Anthony,
Chayanne and Alejandro Fernández, and much
more. At the end of the event the grand prizewinner
was selected among nine finalists. The lucky listener
was Oscar Mendieta, from Nicaragua. “I still
cannot believe it! My family is currently going
through a difficult situation, and winning this
automobile shows me that I am very lucky and things
will get better. I am truly thankful to VIVA 900
for such wonderful prize” stated Mendieta.

Washington was a sponsor of this year’s
Hispanic College Fund scholarship program.
The 2005 scholarship award recipients were honored
at the 12th Annual Hispanic College Fund Awards
Gala on October 26 in Washington, DC. General
Manager Julissa Marenco attended this year’s
event where she had the opportunity to meet the
recipient of WZDC’s scholarship, Raul Magdaleno.
Raul is a Communications major at Southern Methodist
University. Also, being honored as a scholarship
recipient was Alicia Romero, WZDC’s mentee.
Alicia is a Business Administration major at Pepperdine
University.

KTDO’s
Fall Preview Promotes Programming
On
September 29, KTDO in El Paso hosted a Fall Preview
celebration for the market’s top advertisers.
The event took place at the beautiful new El Paso
Museum of Art. Those attending mixed with the
T48 staff and admired the southwestern artwork.
The big draw was Ana María Polo, of Caso
Cerrado, who did a fantastic job of meeting
and greeting clients and posing for pictures.
The 100 attendees were then invited to the large
museum theater to watch the video presentation
on the “Hecho para Ti” campaign and
the upcoming programming on Telemundo. Ms. Polo
followed with an entertaining presentation of
her show and Telemundo. Clients were treated to
a delicious southwestern buffet and more than
a little attention from the KTDO sales staff.
It was a fantastic evening and a great success.

Orlando Participates in Blood Drive
On
October 28, WTMO partnered with Florida’s
Blood Centers, WESH (NBC), Magic 107.7 and La
Nueva Mega Radio for a very successful Hurricane
Wilma relief drive. The blood drive collected
70 units of blood at the state headquarters and
351 units throughout all of Florida. The blood
donations were given to emergency and trauma units,
cancer treatment centers and other medical centers
and hospitals throughout Florida communities,
especially to hospitals in counties devastated
by Hurricane Wilma. Monetary donations were also
collected to benefit the American Red Cross to
assist hurricane relief efforts. The philanthropic
event was another milestone in the NBC/Telemundo
Orlando partnership and would not have been possible
without the dedication and involvement of the
news team and master control.

de la Familia |

Feria
de la Familia is a ZGS signature community event
for the entire family and serves local Hispanics
by providing information about education, health,
insurance, finances, legal assistance and much
more. Telemundo talent attends the events and
is always very popular along with the planned
activities for the whole family. Feria de la Familia
is designed to entertain, empower and educate
and is held in a variety of ZGS markets. Recently
four stations hosted extremely successful events:
WZDC
Washington, DC - December 11
An
estimated 7,500 people braved the cold weather
to attend Feria de la Familia in Washington. This
year WZDC’s Feria was full of holiday cheer
with one of the attractions being free pictures
with Santa Claus. Other highlights included sampling
from Goya and Starbucks, a rock wall, free health
screenings, and a money machine from Provident
Bank. Children enjoyed story telling and the arts
and crafts activities available to them at the
Home Depot and Commerce Bank booths. Giveaways
included $500 for one of the first 500 to enter
this year’s Feria, Delta airline tickets,
and computers. Marina Miguel was the grand prizewinner
of a Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck. The news team
from Telenoticias 64 and Telemundo stars
including Jeanette Lehr, Pablo Azar, Pedro Moreno,
and Melvin Cabrera were on hand to meet fans.
Entertainment was provided by local groups La
Familia Hoyos, Firma, Raices de Bolivia and William
William. There was something for everyone at this
year’s Feria and clients left extremely
satisfied with their experience.

Boston - October 23
Over
7,500 people attended Feria de la Familia in Boston
taking part in a variety of activities. Medical
professionals were available to perform eye exams,
blood pressure readings and over 1,500 participants
received free cholesterol screenings. Feria attendees
entered raffles to win prizes such as airline
tickets, bikes, Red Sox memorabilia, TVs, computers
and gift baskets. Maria Castañeda was the
lucky winner of a new car, a 2006 Toyota Scion
XB. In addition to the raffle for the car one
of the major highlights was the participation
of Dora the Explorer who welcomed over 2,500 children.

Hartford and WDMR Springfield – October
16
WRDM/WRMD’s
first ever Feria de la Familia welcomed over 10,000
participants from Connecticut and Massachusetts
making it the most successful event in this category.
Telemundo stars Dr. Ana María Polo, Poncho
de Anda and Candela Ferro were on hand to interact
with fans. The event included musical performances
by The Latin Heartbeat Orchestra, 2ble Bombazo,
Bizcochito, el Babyface de la Bachata, N’klabe
and Grupo Mania. Businesses introduced new products
and services, educated their target audience,
generated sales leads and enhanced their image
and visibility among the New England Hispanic
community.

Orlando – July 30
Over
15,000 people attended Feria de La Familia this
year in Orlando. Highlights of the event included
great entertainment from international salsa artist
Charlie Cruz, the interactive children’s
area, and Jorge Rivera Nieves and Ivonne Solla
from Telenoticias Puerto Rico. WTMO’s
Feria also demonstrated the philanthropic side
of Feria participants with many people choosing
to give blood at the Central Florida Blood Center
booth. Exhibitors including Amerigroup, Daytona
Beach Speedway, Discount Auto Parts, ERA, Florida
Blood Center, and Home Depot were extremely pleased
with this year’s event and the opportunity
they had to reach the Hispanic community of Central
Florida. WTMO is already looking forward to next
year’s Feria scheduled for July 29, 2006.

Ft. Myers/Naples Hispanic Heritage Festival of
Southwest Florida
In
recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, WWDT and
Comcast partnered to host the Hispanic Heritage
Festival of Southwest Florida on October 15. The
festival celebrates southwest Florida’s
diverse Hispanic cultures and offers local Hispanics
the opportunity to experience and embrace the
legacy of Hispanic culture through entertainment,
and other family oriented activities. The festival’s
stage featured a variety of musical guests including
Khazier and Beby Joah, Arcángeles, Grupo
Millenio, Inalcanzable, Espiritus 3D and Calle
Ciega. The headliner of the event was Domenic
Marte singing his latest bachata hits. The festival
boasted an extensive kid’s zone where Dora
the Explorer and Sponge Bob Squarepants made special
appearances.

Tampa Conga Caliente
The
second annual Conga Caliente festival took place
at Al Lopez Park on November 20 and was a huge
success. Approximately 25,000 people attended
the festival. Visitors enjoyed exhibitions, food,
and live performances by Andy Andy, Grupo Mania,
Brother’s Band and Conga. WRMD had its own
booth giving away promotional items such as maracas,
t-shirts, and bags. In addition, Telemundo talent
Pablo Azar and Erick Elias from El Cuerpo
del Deseo were present. They signed autographs
for over 2 hours, packing the booth with many
excited fans. Azar and Elias also had stage presence
raffling prizes including Telemundo gift baskets.

Orlando Calle Orange
On
October 30, WTMO participated in Calle Orange,
Central Florida’s largest Hispanic festival.
This was the seventh year of the festival and
Telemundo has been part of it from the beginning.
More than 50,000 people attended Calle Orange,
which covered ten blocks. Participants were drawn
to the food and entertainment. WTMO partnered
with the Orlando Sentinel and had the best stage
of the event. Musical guests included El Gran
Combo de Puerto Rico, Fulanito, Angle and Khriz,
and Michael Stuart. The stage was emceed by Telenoticias
anchor Luis Mercado and Entre Nos host
Giorgina Pinedo.
