From
Ron’s Desk |
I
know it's a little late, but I want to thank all you
for your great efforts in making 2007 a successful year
for ZGS. It was especially gratifying to see the growth
and success we had with Feria de la Familia in every
single market. We had over 70,000 attendees and over
400 sponsors at this year's Ferias, and in most our
communities it clearly has become the largest, most
entertaining and valuable family-fun day for our community.
We also ended the year with a big announcement, - the
acquisition of WWSI-62, the Telemundo affiliate in Philadelphia.
WWSI is a great addition to the ZGS station group and
we are looking forward to putting together a wonderful
team to help bring some creativity, energy and commitment
to the station and to Hispanic community of Philadelphia.
Last but not least, I think we have in place strong
leadership and great teams across all stations, which
is the foundation for success and essential as we go
into 2008 and an uncertain economy. Our success is always
predicated on our ability to be quick and creative,
to provide great opportunities and value for clients;
and to serve our communities with commitment and conviction…
ingredients for success in any environment. We have
some exciting initiatives for 2008, and I am sure that
with your help and support we will continue to be leaders
in our markets, and make an important local difference
in our communities.
Muchísimas gracias por el gran compromiso que
tienen con ZGS y con nuestra comunidad.
