I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I know that you are all busy with the many festivals and community events in which we participate this time of year. As I am sure you are aware, our industry and media in general is experiencing difficult economic times. Times like this give us an opportunity to demonstrate to our clients how creative and proactive we can be in helping them address their business challenges. ZGS has always done this well. Now more than ever we need to focus on providing excellent service and business solutions for our customers. Let’s demonstrate our ability to think outside the box and develop new initiatives, programs and partnerships that appeal to new clients and offers something different to current clients. We need to work together to share ideas and best practices and continue to support each other at the station level and across our station group. I appreciate all that you do. Thank you for your efforts.

As it turns out, Cantú luckily won the trip, and with travel scheduled for the second week of July, he gives his wife, Marcela, one heck of a birthday gift. “My wife’s birthday is on July 10 and she’s never been to Miami before,” Cantú said. “So we’re going to have a special time.” Cantú was one of over hundreds of viewers who registered for the trip at various sponsor locations scattered throughout El Paso, with 48 individuals chosen as daily winners and announced on the air.
