Eduardo’s Corner

Greetings everyone, it promises to be an eventful summer, with lots of festivals, events, and happenings for our ZGS family. I hope you all are enjoying the season as well, and are ready to join me in taking up new challenges. One for me is this column, which I hope you enjoy. I welcome any feedback or ideas you may have. We’ve already met many challenges so far this year – our reorganization, budgets and revenues goals, our community events, and the expansion of our station group; just think about it, we now span all four time zones across the country! This is quite an achievement, one that would not be possible without the talented, dedicated, creative employees who make up our ZGS family. One of our most significant recent developments was the launch of holaciudad.com. This exciting, original, dynamic new media site has grown steadily since its first unveiling in April, and offers so many creative possibilities. I hope you all have had an opportunity to explore its unique content, and get a taste of what is coming to your city! In closing, I see so many new possibilities, opportunities, and yes, challenges, ahead for us that I find it very stimulating. Challenges are a chance to break ground into new territory and achieve new goals. I’d like to share with you something I read from Albert Einstein on the importance of challenge and crisis to the creative process. I hope it will inspire you as it inspires me, because together, I know we can accomplish so much. Un gran abrazo y saludos a todos.
